I finished Volume 2! Also Mecha Senku IS in the manga but he doesnt pop in randomly he does these cute little Q&A sections that are very funny silly. I have a lot of notes on this one :3

One of my friends saw this panel and said "God the anime literally just animated this art style huh" and yeah absolutely! Most anime is animated shot for shot.

Anyway for Dr Stone Volume 2 instead of Mecha Senku being introduced to showcase how to make gunpowder, they did the "cooking with Senku" bit without him.

Also... Yuzuriha DOES have crack marks??? But it seems they forgot them in both the anime AND in most of the panels AND in all of the cover art? She has a swirl on her shoulder and her neck that matches the headphone thingies.
